JANUARY

13th. 20th Frostbite Walk along the Joe K Trail!  North Park Trail Walk at 10 am.  A 1.5 easy trail walk where history meets ecology. Meet at the top of the Museum drive.  Free and no reservation required.  Dress accordingly; the trail can be muddy, cold and/or windy along the river.

FEBRUARY

10th.  Winter Wildlife Walk with environmentalist and birder, John Canoles at 9 am.  Spend 1.5 hours walking the Joe K trail learning about winter wildlife, birds and the environment.  Meet on the Lock House grounds near the pivot bridge.  Dress accordingly; the trail can be muddy, cold and/or windy along the river.  Free and no reservations required.

MARCH

1st. Museum available for SCHEDULED tours Monday thru Friday.  Scheduled tours by appointment only are $5/person.  No groups larger than 6 adults.  Contact museum office.  410-939-5780 or info@thelockhousemuseum.org.

APRIL

6th. Museum opens on the weekends for the season.  1-5 pm.  Initial guided tour then at your own pace.  Pay what you can admission.

20th.  Lock House Craft Beer & Wine Festival featuring area beers and wines, live music and curated craft vendors overlooking the beautiful Susquehanna River.    

27th. Early Spring Migration Bird walk with environmentalist and birder, John Canoles at 8 am.  Spend 1.5 hours walking the Joe K trail learning about early spring wildlife, birds and the environment.  Meet on the Lock House grounds near the pivot bridge.  Dress accordingly; the trail can be muddy, cold and/or windy along the river. Free and no reservations required. 

27th.  Yoga at the Lock House with Beach Bee Yoga at 9 am.  Every Saturday morning until the fall.  Meet in front of the Lock House on the river side of the building.  $10 drop-in fee.                      

MAY

17th.  Summer Evening Wildlife Walk with environmentalist and birder, John Canoles at 6 pm.  Spend 1.5 hours walking the Joe K trail learning about winter wildlife, birds and the environment.  Meet on the Lock House grounds near the pivot bridge.  Dress accordingly; the trail can be muddy, cold and/or windy along the river. Free and no reservations required.

AUGUST

TBD. Neighbor's Night Out.

9th.  Lock House Museum Annual Meeting/Open House.  5-6:30 open house, 6:45 annual meeting.

27th.  Museum closes for the season.

NOVEMBER

14th.  52nd Annual Candlelight House Tour 4-8 pm.

14th & 15th.  32nd Lock House Holiday Boutique, Saturday 9-5 & Sunday 11-3.
