Visit Havre de Grace on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 for the 201st anniversary of the British attack on our City. There will be a full day of military unit exhibitions and drills, lectures, and period music and games.
Our goal is to keep the memory of Havre de Grace’s role in the war alive, focusing on the course of the conflict since the attack on the town, and providing information about upcoming 2014 bi-centennial commemorations throughout Maryland.
We will have period re-enactors, music, games, and more! The schedule below details the different activities planned for the day at the Lock House. Entry is $3 per person (free for children under 12).
Also be sure to check the Concord Point Lighthouse and Keeper’s House, the Steppingstone Museum, and the Maritime Museum for their events throughout the weekend, as well as the Decoy Museum for information on the Decoy Festival. It will be fun-filled weekend in Havre de Grace for everyone!
